Career Ladder Learning Teams
Learning Teams are collaborative teams of teachers who address issues in teaching and learning, are committed to reflecting on their work, and who take initiative for their own learning. Learning Team dialogue is a meaningful process for

• problem solving issues that focus on implementation of instructional strategies, curriculum standards and assessments

• examining research materials that impact professional practice and learning

• analyzing student work as it relates to student achievement data and standards

Research documents that learning and reflection through Learning Teams leads to improved professional practice and increased student achievement.
