Nominate someone where you work
In the district's Take Time for People program, employees nominate certified and classified colleagues whose outstanding efforts:
- contribute to the quality of MPS
- make a positive difference in the lives of students and staff
Educator of the Month and Classified Employee of the Month awards recognize school- and district-based staff members.
At least three nominators and the principal's or director's signature are required.
Administrators, supervisors and previous winners are not eligible.
The school board and superintendent honor winners at the second board meeting of the month. They receive framed certificates, tributes, and $400 and up to three days off for professional development.
