Modified in-person board meetings
The district has implemented several safety protocols during modified in-person board meetings. All individuals in attendance are required to wear a face covering for the duration of the meeting. Audience seating is limited to ensure six-foot physical distancing.
As has been our longtime practice, meetings are live streamed on the district YouTube channel and can be accessed at mpsaz.org/live.
Public comments on agenda items is in-person. On arrival, please submit a request to address the board located in the lobby. If seating is unavailable or you prefer to wait outside, we will notify you when it is your turn to speak. Governing Board policy BDDH allows for 15 minutes of public comment and three minutes per speaker. Individual speaking time may be adjusted to maximize the number of participants.
Community members who do not attend the meeting, may share their thoughts with Board members at any time through email. We encourage you to email prior to the meeting so the members have the opportunity to consider your input.
