Biography

Welcome to Second Grade!  My name is Mrs. Magana-Hill.  Most students call me Mrs. Magana.  I have been educating students here at Crismon for 22 years.  I love the sense of community that comes with working at this school!  I moved here from Ohio where I earned my degree from Bowling Green State University.  I also have a Master’s Degree from NAU.  I have a daughter named Megan.   My husband’s name is Barry.  Together we have two spoiled dogs, Zion and Mocha.  In my free time I enjoy reading, running, biking, and cooking.  Every summer we try to travel somewhere different.  Some of the places we have visited are Cancun where we toured Chichen Itza, the Rhode Island area where we visited the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Empire State Building, Boston, Martha’s Vineyard, a cruise through Cozumel, Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands, and most of the Hawaiian Islands.  Last summer I travelled to Maine and Nova Scotia. This summer we relaxed on Lake Norman in North Carolina.  When we travel I have to combine beauty with education! I love to learn and love teaching my students how to enjoy learning.  We are going to have a fantastic year!
