Mr. Ryan Kreiter
Hello, and welcome to room 22! My name is Mr. Kreiter, and this is my second year at Crismon, but only my first year with my own classroom. Last year I had the privilege of being apart of the Arizona State University program here at Crismon Elementary. I was an associate teacher working along side my teammates in fifth grade. After graduating in December, I knew that Crismon was the place for me, so I decided to stay on as a G.U.S. aid. While working as an aid, I was able to continue to meet more of the students, along with many of the parents in our community. I learned that Crismon was the place for me, and ended up landing my dream job of teaching Science and Social Studies.
I grew up in Central Illinois, in a small town near Peoria. After graduating high school, I decided to look for a change of pace. My brother, who moved down to Arizona that same year, suggested that I join him. After working for a year, I finally decided to move down to Arizona to pursue a degree from ASU. While attending Arizona State, I worked at a country club in Gold Canyon. As my teaching skills began to grow, I noticed that my golf skills began to decline. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing golf, and the occasional video game.
I am very excited to begin my career here at Crismon! I'm looking forward to meeting more members of our community, along with being able to make an impact where I can! Although this is not a typical start to the year, I believe that our community will be successful.
