Biography                                                                                                                              

Welcome to Mrs. Katt's first grade class. I am so excited to be teaching first grade this year at Crismon and can't wait to get to know all about you!  I have been in the Mesa School District since 2012 as a first grade teacher.  Before that I have worked as a first, second, and third grade teacher for the Roosevelt and Tempe school district.

I graduated from ASU with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Ed and I also hold a Masters degree in Early Childhood. 

I have two teenage sons, one who just graduated from high school and the other one who plays football for Mountain View High School.  I also have a younger daughter who is in Jr. High and loves coming into my classroom and meeting all my students.  I have a pet dog named Pug Bug.  Guess what type of dog he is?  You guessed it, he is a pug.  As for myself, I enjoy dining out with my hubby, reading, going on hikes, and absolutely love the beach
