No fines or fees will accrue as of March 1, 2020.  All checked out library materials have been renewed until Aug. 25, 2020.  We encourage you to keep your items at home until school reopens.

How & Where to Find Good Books

  • FREE sites & apps (click on the big red button above)  A large list of places to access ebooks, audio books, magazines, movies, music, TV shows and so much more.  
  • Mind Readers Newsletter (link on the left)  A bi-monthly newsletter with book reviews, popular books list and all things bookish.
  • What should I read next? (link on the right)  Here you will find Top 10 lists by genre mostly created by students.     
  • Hot List (link on the left)  Books that are popular with teens now and a short summary. 
  • Book Trailers (link on the left)  Just like a movie trailer but with books. 
  • New Books at Dobson (link on the left)  Here you can see all of the new books that have been added to our library, read the summary and then search for a digital version on the red button above.

Need Free Wi-Fi?

All Mesa Public Libraries have free wifi access outside their buildings from 7am - 9pm.  Wifi is also available throughout the downtown Mesa area (from 1st Street. to 1st Ave and Robson to Centennial Way).  To access wifi from any of these places connect to the network name "@mesa" (no password required).
