Mrs. Christa Mussi
I grew up in a small, rural community in southern Arizona, and had both of my parents as teachers in elementary school. I graduated from the University of Arizona with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and received my Master's Degree in Counseling/School Counseling from Northern Arizona University. I am proud to be a part of Dobson High School for the past 10 years and am in my 18th year as a school counselor. Prior to coming to Mesa Public Schools, I was a school counselor in Rio Rico, AZ. In 2011 I was recognized as one of the top 10 school counselors in the nation, and served as the President for the Arizona School Counselors Association.
When I am not at school, I am usually spending with my family or volunteering. I also enjoy traveling, reading, and classical ballet.
My favorite thing about being a school counselor is the opportunity to work with students and their families. My role is to advocate for students, and provide them with support and encouragement in reaching their academic, personal, and career goals. I look forward to hearing from you!
