Welcome Parents and Students!
Along with the 1600+ freshman and sophomores, I entered my first year at Dobson as well. I am very excited to get to work and see what we can create!
Originally from Philadelphia Pennsylvania, I came out west for college at ASU. After receiving a BFA in Fiber Arts and in Metalworking/Jewelry I continued on to a MA in Education. Art has been such a positive influence on my life. Art class was always my favorite part of the day as a child and I hope to help others find the same love of art that I have.
One of the great things about teaching Beginning Level classes in Jewelry and Ceramics is that all the students are coming into class with excitement to learn a whole new form of art that they have never experienced. The processes may take time to learn but it is the student’s growth in the medium that is most important!
The Art Department will be having an Art Show at the end of the semester to show off the work of all of our talented students. We welcome you to come and see the great things your child has accomplished.
