2. Leadership Education I: Citizenship, Character, and Air Force Tradition
This is primarily an aviation history course focusing on the development of flight throughout the centuries. The emphasis will be on civilian and military contributions to aviation; the development, modernization, and transformation of the Air Force from the barnstormers to the military operations of today. We will also continue to reinforce cadet and Air Force organizational structure; uniform wear; customs, courtesies, and other military traditions, as well as health, wellness & fitness.
Throughout both courses, there are readings, videos, hands-on activities, as well as in-text and student workbook exercises to guide in the reinforcement of the materials.
