After graduating from the University of Arizona in 2003, I quickly began my teaching career right where it all started...my alma mater...Dobson High School. In just eight short years I have taught most of the Social Studies classes we offer at Dobson, including: World History, United States History (A.P. and Regular), Economics, Government and We the People. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have also coached Varisty Boys Golf, J.V.Girls Basketball and have been a teacher/coach to several of our State Championship We the People Teams.
Currently I teach three sections of American History, one section of AP United States History and one section of We the People (Competitive Government ). I am also the head coach for the Varsity Boys Golf Team.

As you will see on this website, and in my class, I love American History...espeically when I have a chance to visit a historic site and experience it first hand. My goal every year is to bring that experience and enthusiasm to my students. In turn, I hope they gain a deeper understanding of American history and how that insight fits into the context of world events (past and present). When not in school, you will probably find me traveling around the world, playing a round of golf with my family and friends, or most likely, watching an Arizona Wildcat athletic event. Bear Down!
