This is my seventh year teaching at Dobson and so far it's been awesome!!  This semseter I'm teaching sections of Beginning Painting,  Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Drawing, and also AP Studio .  I'm always amazed by the level of talent and creativity students have, and my current students are no different.  I can't wait to see what they come up with.

As well as teaching drawing and painting, I am also the Head Coach of the Mustang JV Football Team.

I began my teaching career at Fremont Jr. High back in 1998 where I taught art, physical education and coached football and baseball.  I was then fortunate enough to help open Smith Junior High in 2001 where I was the art department chair, head football and softball coach, and also designed and created the school yearbook.  I graduated in 1990 from Rock Springs High School in Rock Springs, WY where I competed in football, baseball and track.  After high school I attended and played running back and centerfield for the Dana College Vikings in Blair, NE, the Mesa Community College Thunderbirds and ended my college football career as a Lumberjack at Northern Arizona University.   I went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from the University of Wyoming in 1997.

I live in Mesa with my beautiful wife Angela, my 8 year old son Gavin, and my 6 year old daughter Lucia.   Being a parent is one of the biggest adventures I could ever dream of, and hope for.
