Math/AVID Teacher/Math Dept Chair
I graduated from University of Nebraska in 1984 with a BS in Business Administration. After working in business, I chose to pursue a degree in Math Education from Grand Canyon University in 1987 and started student teaching at Dobson in the spring of 1989. I was hired on full time that next fall and began my 29 year career as a Mustang. My Masters Degree was achieved in 1995 in Secondary Math Education and I currently teach Dual Enrollment through MCC. Throughout my career, I have taught a variety of classes from Geometry, Personal Finance, Honors Alg. 2, College Algebra/Trig, PreCalculus, and AVID. I enjoy teaching all levels of math and helping kids to understand the content more efficiently and realize their dreams.
Personally, I have been married for 22 years and have an 21 year old son who attends college in CA and plays baseball. I enjoy travel, reading and sports, especially Husker football. GO BIG RED!!
