Born and raised in Chandler, AZ. Attended Midland University in Fremont, NE on a basketball scholarship from 2011-2012. After getting injured and ending my basketball career, I finished up my bachelor's degree at Arizona State University in Secondary Education with an emphasis on History. I graduated with honors in 2015. Throughout my college experience, I have had the pleasure of coaching girls' basketball at Gilbert High School from 2012-2016.
I began my educational experience interning and student teaching at four valley schools (South Ridge High School, Grand Canyon Preparatory Academy, Desert Hills High School, and Dobson High School). I have also taught professionally at Sierra Linda High School in Spring, 2016. Over the years my teaching philosophy can be summarize by one word: Growth. Students and teachers will grow throughout each school year by learning new content and new life lessons. No one teacher or student will enter the school year and leave the school year with the same mind set. My teaching methods exert this mentality and drive.
Outside of teaching, I recently got married and have two fur children - German Sheppard named Ballion and a Siberian Husky named Khaleesi. My hobbies are wakeboarding, snowboarding, playing basketball, softball, volleyball, going to church and watching the Arizona Cardinals!! Also a big time Sun Devils fan!
