I am absolutely thrilled to be riding along with all of you this year!
As your school social worker, it is my goal to ensure that every student has what they need to be successful in school and in life! This may include resources for mental health, food, housing, or a number of other things. I look forward to getting to know you individually so we can work together in finding the best way forward! Please make an appointment to see me any time!
I was born in Kansas City, MO, and briefly lived in Kearney, NE, before moving to the Phoenix area when I was eight- I've lived and worked all over the Valley! I graduated from Mountain Pointe (home of the Pride!) in 2000 and earned degrees in Psychology and Human Services from Ottawa University while working in schools. I have worked in a variety of educational and social work settings over the years and love to learn new ways to help everyone be the best version of themselves! In my free time I like to spend time with my husband, three kids, and menagerie of pets. I also like to read, binge-watch shows, sing, and get out of town as much as possible- especially during the summer! In the future I hope to go back to school so I can learn even more ways to help people, learn Spanish, play the guitar, and travel to new places.
