Biography

I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico.  After high school I moved to Idaho to attend Brigham Young University-Idaho.  I started majoring in Music Education and ended up switching my major to Family and Consumer Science Education.  I moved to Mesa, AZ to do my student teaching and was hired at Dobson when I graduated with my bachelor's degree.  This is my third year teaching FACS and Economics at Dobson High School.  I am currently working on my master's degree in Career and Technical Education through NAU.  I have studied and enjoy a variety of activities including ballroom dancing, singing, playing the organ, sewing, cooking, and running.  I sponsor one of the HERO cooperative education programs and the fashion club here on campus.  I am also the service learning coach for Dobson.
