How Long Have I Been Teaching?
- The 2020-2021 school year is my first year as a certified teacher--and I couldn't be more excited!
Why Be An English Language Arts Teacher?
- The old John Donne poem says that "No man is an island," which I believe to be true: you, me, them--we're all sharing the same planet. All of us are connected by one way or another. So, if we're all sharing the same place, then isn't it important for us all to effectively communicate? Better knowing English language arts helps us live in a better connected world. And if we're all "better connected" through language arts--if I better understand you, and you me, and we them--then I think that our world would be an even better place to live in.
Where Am I From?
- I was born in Tucson, AZ but moved when I was four years old.
