Eagleridge Enrichment Program

A UNIQUE enrichment program for homeschooled students provided free of charge by Mesa Public Schools.

Wednesday or Friday One-Day Program Description:

Kindergarten, first and second grade students attend a one day per week program, in a self-contained classroom setting. Students receive instruction through integrated and highly engaging thematic units. Students attend P.E. and Music classes with content specialists. Students also have the opportunity to experience our computer lab and library during the day with their classroom teacher. Teachers focus on building student's self-esteem through developing cooperation/listening skills, creativity, and applied reading and math integrated thematic units. 

3-8th grade students are grouped by grade level and meet one day per week to rotate through hour-long classes which include:  Music Mania!, Science Explorers, Clay, Paint, Drawing & More!, Creative Technology for Kids!, P.E. Fun! and Author! Author!


All children from a family may come as a group on the day of their choice.

A parent curriculum room is available for textbook and educational material check out. Texts and curricular materials may be checked out for the school year for any child enrolled in the Eagleridge Program. These materials are loaned to parents free of charge.



Monday and Tuesday/Thursday Program 

Primary Grades:

Kindergarten, first, second and third grade students may choose between a two-day per week program on the Tuesday/Thursday schedule or a one-day per week program on Mondays. The primary programs are held in a self-contained classroom setting. Students receive instruction through integrated, thematic units. The Tuesday/Thursday students come both days and meet from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Monday students meet from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

4th-8th Grade:
Tuesday and Thursday students in 4-6th grade may choose a minimum of 4 classes and as many as 8 classes in which to participate.

Monday 4th-6th graders must take 7 classes.

7th and 8th Grade:
Tuesday and Thursday students in 7th and 8th grade may choose a minimum of 4 classes and as many as 8 classes.

Monday 7th and 8th grade students must take 8 classes.
