Mrs. Hanna Hinze
Hello Eagleridge students and families! I am thrilled to be teaching at Eagleridge again this year! I absolutely love this school and the amazing Eagleridge community! I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University with specializations in Fine Arts (Dance), Spanish and Social Studies and an Endorsement in English as a Second Language. I have my master's degree in School Guidance Counseling from Ottawa University. I am bi-lingual in Spanish and taught English in Mexico for a summer during college. In high school I was a delegate to Germany for Tempe Sister Cities and to this day love traveling and learning about cultures and people from around the world!
I started teaching for Mesa Public Schools 18 years ago, taught 2nd grade for several years then took time off teaching to be home with my children. During the last 7 years I have done curriculum writing, taught for a private school and a dance studio and was a campus coordinator in charge of running an afterschool program. I also homeschooled my children a couple of years and had the joy of experiencing Eagleridge as a parent!
I live in Gilbert, Arizona with my wonderful husband, 2 daughters (ages 15 and 7) and 2 sons (ages 13 and 11)! My hobbies are gardening, cooking delicious plant-based dishes, yoga, stand up paddle-boarding and traveling with my family!
I look forward to an incredible year of growth, learning and lots of fun!
