My name is Rosanna Thomsen and I am the Monday second grade teacher at Eagleridge Enrichment. I have been married for 8 years and have three (and a half) wonderful children. I have a 5 year old daughter and almost 3 sons: ages 2, 1, and another due in October. I love hanging out with my family! We enjoy taking walks, riding bikes, hiking, and being outside. I'm a native of Arizona and absolutely love this wonderful state. I grew up in Gilbert, moved to Mesa, and plan on staying here forever.
I love teaching and seeing the excitement in a child's eyes when they learn something new. I received my bachelors in elementary education from ASU, Go Devils! I have been lucky to have a variety of teaching experiences. I had the incredible opportunity to student teach at Lincoln School in Costa Rica. I loved experiencing an international school, plus it was great to keep up on my Spanish skills. After that I taught 4th grade for five years at a charter school in Mesa. Then I joined Mesa Public Schools and taught 1st grade at Longfellow for a year. I decided to stay home when I had my daughter and taught English to children in China (online) for a year and a half. Now I am at Eagleridge and LOVE it here. I get to have the best of both worlds by teaching your wonderful children one day a week and being home with mine the remaining six. I love the community at Eagleridge and feel privileged to work with your sweet children.
