I was born and raised in Arizona. I received my Bachelor's of Arts Degree in K-12 Physical Education from Arizona State University. In 2003 I obtained my ESL Endorsement through Northern Arizona State University. Then in 2004, I finished my Masters Degree in Multicultural Bilingual Education from NAU as well. In 2010 I finished my degree to be able to teach in the elementary classroom and in 2012 I met the requirements to be highly qualified to teach K-12 mathematics.

I have been teaching physical education in Mesa Public School District since 2001. I was a Traveling P.E. Teacher so I had the opportunity to teach at Edison, Jordan, Robson, Crismon and Hale Elementary. In the Fall of 2004 I became a part of the Roosevelt Roughrider Family and have enjoyed teaching P.E. there for 15 years. In the Fall of 2019 I returned to the Edison Eagles Family that I began my teaching journey with 21 years ago. I am so excited to be an Edison Eagle and excited to get to know all the families and students.
