Welcome to the launch of an incredible school year! Our mission is to learn and grow far beyond the walls of this room. Each student brings unique interests, skills and passions to our class.  I firmly believe that we can experience and accomplish the most within a supportive, caring, classroom community.

I value open lines of communication with you concerning the academic achievements and struggles that your child may experience. If I have any concerns, I will contact you immediately. If you have questions or concerns, please contact me as soon as possible. By working together, your child will have the greatest opportunity for success.

This is my fourth year at Edison and my seventh year of teaching.  I have also taught 1st grade and middle school math. Fourth grade is definitely my favorite grade because I enjoy preparing the activities and watching the students actively engaged in the lessons.

I grew up in Tempe and stayed to earn my degree in Early Childhood Education at ASU.  Later I became highly qualified to teach middle school math.  I have one daughter in 8th grade at another school in Mesa. My daughter and I enjoy taking care of animals: we have 2 birds, 2 snakes, fish, and a cat.  Our class pet is a bearded dragon named Lily Puffer.  She really likes to watch the class learn and do activities.
