TEC1169: OneNote: An Introduction
Microsoft OneNote is a powerful productivity app in the Microsoft Office suite that can give you added flexibility both inside and outside the classroom. This training will introduce how this electronic notebook can be used to take typed or digitally handwritten notes for lesson planning, PLCs, and classroom instruction.
TEC 1239: OneNote Class Notebook
This class will help you get started using the OneNote Class Notebook. This powerful add-on to OneNote allows you to create a notebook for your students that contains content and collaboration spaces as well as individual notebooks for each student. As the teacher, you can easily and quickly share information with students and give them instant feedback on their notes.
TEC1302: SMART amp- Getting Started
SMART amp is part of the new SMART Learning Suite. It brings the whole class, groups of students, or individuals together in a shared space to collaborate on individual or group projects. Teachers can choose from a variety of templates, and students are able to use their district devices and discover content at their own pace. It's web-based so there is no software to download.
TEC1271: Introduction to Blended Learning
Introduction to Blended Learning is the first course in a three course series on blended learning. This course is intended for teachers new to blended learning to help familiarize them with blended learning concepts.
TEC1273: Planning for Blended Learning
In this third course in a series of three, you will be given an integration model and overview of integrating technology with engagement, questioning and discussion, and assessment strategies. You will also be given resources to help you find content that is infused with technology.
TEC1203: Google Classroom: An Introduction
In this online course you will learn the basics of Google Classroom, including how to set up your Classroom as well as distributing and collecting digital assignments.
TEC1223: Google Classroom: Beyond the Basics
In this course you will learn how to share calendars in Classroom, export grades, and explore technology tools and Chrome extensions that can enhance your Google Classroom. It is recommended that you complete Google Classroom: An Introduction before enrolling in this course.
TEC1263: Google Classroom: Streamlining the Workflow
In this course, participants will learn how to set up folders to house templates for assignments in Google Classroom, how to convert existing Office files to Google format for use in Classroom, and learn a variety of Chrome extensions that enhance productivity and workflow.
TEC1266: Interactive Blended Learning Tools with Student Devices: Using EDpuzzle
EDpuzzle is a free online tool that gives teachers the ability to crop existing online video from sources such as YouTube, KhanAcademy, LearnZillion, etc., and customize the video with voice-overs, audio comments, and written assessment questions. The final product can be presented to the whole class, or assigned to individual students as a formative assessment.
TEC1272: Management for Blended Learning
This is the second course in a three-course series that will prepare teachers to effectively manage technology in a blended learning environment including monitoring and encouraging proper technology usage, developing basic troubleshooting skills, and promoting student digital citizenship.
TEC1225: LanSchool: Getting Started
LanSchool is a classroom management program. It is used by teachers to monitor students' activity and improve learning in a digital classroom. In this course you will learn how to monitor students' screens, share a teacher or student's screen, monitor students keystrokes, limit the Internet, monitor students' URL activity, take all student computers to a URL quickly, conduct a teacher-to-student chat and various other features.
TEC1227: Interactive Blended Learning Tools with Student Devices: Using Quizizz
Engage students with an interactive, free online program that turns student devices into a game-based learning response system. Students and teachers get instant feedback. This class is intended for teachers who will be teaching in a 1:1 blended learning environment where every student has a device (high school 1:1 programs and all secondary math and ELA teachers) or for teachers at school sites where student BYOT (Bring Your Own Technology) is permitted in accordance with Governing Board Policy JFCH-R(3).
