What is Edcamp?

Edcamp is a free, participant-driven unconference that allows educators to learn from each other and share ideas. For more information, visit the Edcamp Foundation home page.

What can I expect at MPS Edcamp?

The Welcome Session will be an opportunity to decide the topics of the sessions. Then you choose what learning you want to participate in for three 45-minute sessions.

What do I bring? Bring an excitement for learning! Bring your device and charger! Please arrive on time. Come prepared to take notes whether electronically or paper and pencil. We will be using several forms of electronic communication such as Google Docs and Google Forms.

What will I take away?

Great question… you will take away what you put in to the day. There will be lots of ideas, strategies, and resources shared from educators around the district.

Do I have to present?

Anyone with a good idea is encouraged to speak up and share.  Edcamp is all about sharing.

Why are we having Edcamp?

Why not?  We know MPS Educators have lots of ideas and this is a great opportunity to share and collaborate.
