Educational Technology Trainer
I am blessed to embark on my third year as an educational technology trainer. Prior to this, I taught at Las Sendas Elementary (from 2002-2016). There I taught fifth and sixth grade. I hope to serve MPS schools, learn from colleagues, and pass on what I have learned.
I grew up in Southern California, but was actually born in Alexandria, Virginia. For college I attended Azusa Pacific University and earned a B.A. in Religion. Following that, I completed an MDiv. from Fuller Theological Seminary and later a teaching credential from Cal. Poly, Pomona. A few years I received a post-grad certificate in School Guidance Counseling.
I married my beautiful wife Jennifer in 1996. She is a special education teacher in Gilbert, Arizona and is currently working on her doctorate in Education Leadership. We are blessed with two Children, McKenna and Liam. McKenna is embarking on her first year in High School , and Liam will start 7th grade in the fall.
