Biography

As an Arizona native, I am a product of our excellent education systems from elementary to college. I hold a Bachelor of Science and Master's in Education from Northern Arizona University. Being a lifelong learner, I have also taken many post-graduate classes from several universities.

I have been in the education field for over 30 years. I taught Special Education as well as grades 2-5. In addition to my classroom experience, I was a Library Media Specialist and Computer teacher at the elementary level. For the past 15 years I have been an educational technology trainer. I have also been an adjunct faculty member for Ottawa University Professional Education Program, Arizona State University Cohort Program, University of Phoenix Online division, and Grand Canyon University's TodaysLearn program. I am a technology instructor for the Arizona K-12 Center’s summer “Camp Plug and Play." I've designed and taught a full range of technology integrated professional development classes for schools and districts locally and nationally, including Google Apps For Education, coding for students, integrating mobile devices, Arizona Standards + technology, STEM, Digital Citizenship, Project-Based Learning, Web 2.0 tools, and students as teachers programs.

My passion is empowering teachers to skillfully engage students in dynamic, relevant educational experiences supported by the tools of technology.

I LOVE teaching!
