Ann Welker, M.S.,CCC-SLP
Welcome to speech/language therapy! I look forward to working together with you and your child to improve his or her communication skills.
I would like to take just a moment to introduce myself. I have been a Speech and Language Pathologist since 1981 and have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, clinics and schools. Presently, I have the privilege of working as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for Mesa Public Schools. I have a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from Arizona State University and hold the Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). I am licensed by the Arizona Dept. of Health Services and certified by the Arizona Dept. of Education. I am also a member of the Arizona Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ArSHA). In addition to providing speech and language therapy services, I have been honored to supervise many new Speech/Language Pathologists in the Mesa Public School district as a clinical Fellowship Supervisor and as a Graduate Intern Supervisor and guest speaker for Arizona State University.
It is my hope that you will feel confident in my ability to help your child make significant progress in speech/language therapy. I am truly looking forward to working with your child.
