I have had the pleasure of teaching P.E. at Crismon for 7 years and this is my third year as a school-based P.E. teacher at Crismon Elementary School.  Prior to being at Crismon, I was a district based P.E. teacher for 14 years with Mesa Public Schools.   I was born in Wisconsin (Go Green Bay Packers) and went to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for 1 year.  I fell in love with the land of the sun, moved to Arizona in 1993, and continued my college education at ASU (Go Sun Devils)!  My bachelor's degree was in Exercise Science and I continued my education to earn a post-bac degree in Education.  I have taught elementary PE within the Mesa School District for the past 16 years.  Crismon is a wonderful school and I am proud to be a part of this community.

Our Crismon elementary P.E. program is proud to announce we are the recipients of the American Alliance for a Healthier Generation Bronze award.  We recieved national recognition for this award.

I lead the Crismon All-Stars afterschool running club.  This is a 12 week club available to 3-6th graders.  We meet afterschool for 45 minutes every Monday from October - February.  Another program offered to our students by the P.E. department is Fitness Fridays.  This takes place on Fridays during lunch recess.

I live in Mesa with my husband and three daughters.  My three daughters have been attending Crismon since pre-school and we are thankful and grateful for all their hard-working/caring teachers!  We enjoy the outdoors, being active, traveling, books, attending ASU football games, watching Green Bay Packer games, and spending time with friends and family.

I love teaching at Crismon elementary school.  My passion is teaching PE, my commitment is to surround your child/children with a safe, positive learning environment, and my mission is to teach students how to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.  I look forward to meeting and working with you!
