The Mesa Public Schools Social Studies program is an integrated study of American history, world history, civics/government, geography, and economics. It is designed to facilitate the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that enhance the ability of our students to function effectively in a changing global world.

Throughout the social studies program students are actively engaged in learning that prepares them to be knowledgeable, responsible members of a multifaceted community.
