My name is Maria Christopher and I’m currently teaching an ELD 2nd/3rd class. I have been teaching for a total of 13 years.  At a young age I knew I wanted to be an educator and have truly found a profession that I love!  I have had the experience of teaching in the primary grades. Throughout these years I have acquired 2 bachelors one in business and the other in education and have 2 masters as well.  I am always seeking out new ideas, books to share with my students, but most of all it is my goal to make learning meaningful and relevant to the real world.

I am a native Spanish speaker who was born in Havana, Cuba.  Luckily I married a great guy that loves to cook and have a spoiled little 4-legged girl named Turbo.  We love to travel and when we travel I have to combine beauty with education!  If I can't bring my students to the mountain, I will sure try to bring it to the classroom.
