Biography: I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. I have an Early Childhood Endorsement and English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement. I also have academic specialty in children's drama. I am married and have nine children and six more amazing children who have chosen to be part of our family! I have seventeen wonderful grandchildren who I adore. I feel very blessed. I love families and have a great desire to support all families of all children who I have the privilege and honor to teach.
In this classroom we do thank you(s). We do respect. We do mistakes. We do praise. We do our best. We do I'm sorry. We do friendships. We do laughter. We do learning.
First Graders are forming habits that they need to know to succeed in school. Creating a helpful, caring environment is a priority in our classroom. When children care about each others' feelings they soon desire to help each other succeed. First Grade is all about the joy of reading which helps to create a passion for learning throughout life. Welcome to a magical year of learning.
"The more that you read, the more things you will know.
The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
