I am so happy to be a teacher at Emerson.  My children attended Emerson, Carson and Westwood.  We have been a part of this neighborhood for twenty years.  I received my Bachelor's of Art from Ottawa University.  Not long after I obtained my ESL endorsement from Rio Salado and Master's in Elementary Ed. from NAU with a reading endorsement. 
My husband, Blaine and I love to camp and travel to other countries to learn about different cultures. Last summer I was fortunate enough to travel to Croatia to meet my cousins.  I am a grandmother of two- Hendrix and Rose.I look forward to instituting the new academic standards this year. Together we will embrace the motto "Where learning never ends".
