I have lived in Arizona for a very long time, however, I am originally from the Midwest. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, traveling/vacationing, and spending time with family and friends.
My educational beliefs include all students should have the opportunity to achieve their personal best regardless of what challenges there are. I hope all students will strive to achieve their fullest potential academically and personally. I hope that all students will discover an appreciation for education and become lifetime learners.
Policies and Procedures
Students are expected to follow all school rules and use the Character Counts Traits daily . Progress reports on students' IEP goals are given quarterly and distributed along with general education report cards. There is collaboration with the general education teacher for students general education grades.
Special education resource classes are generally in a small group setting with instruction designed to address the student’s individual education plans. Students receive special education support in the core academic areas.
Special education resource support classes are held throughout the day and designed to accommodate individual students’ needs and varying schedules.
