Entz Elementary School was constructed and dedicated in Miss Marjorie Entz's name in 1993.
Students at Entz participate in a number of enrichment activities that support classroom learning.
- MPS Theatre Packages which allow students the opportunity to view theatre, dance and music performances by professional companies
- Student concerts by band, orchestra, and chorus members
- Field trips to places such as the Phoenix Zoo, Desert Botanical Gardens, Halle Heart Center, Arizona Science Center, and Symphony Hall in Phoenix
- Track and Field Days (K-6)
- Mother’s Day program (K, 4)
- Musicals (1-2 gr.)
- Rain Forest projects and performance (gr. 3)
- AZ Wax Museum (gr. 4)
- Black History performance (gr. 5)
- Battle of the Books (gr 5-6) sponsored by MPS and the public library
- Math Olympiad (gr 6)
- World’s Fair (gr. 6)
- Chess Club
- Spring Carnival
- Computer Club
The
Entz office is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Students
are allowed on campus at 8:15 am. |
