Entz Elementary School was constructed and dedicated in Miss Marjorie Entz's name in 1993.                                   

Students at Entz participate in a number of enrichment activities that support classroom learning.                    

  • MPS Theatre Packages which allow students the opportunity to view theatre, dance and music performances by professional companies
  • Student concerts by band, orchestra, and chorus members
  • Field trips to places such as the Phoenix Zoo, Desert Botanical Gardens, Halle Heart Center,  Arizona Science Center, and Symphony Hall in Phoenix
  • Track and Field Days (K-6)
  • Mother’s Day program (K, 4)
  • Musicals  (1-2 gr.)
  • Rain Forest  projects and performance  (gr. 3)
  • AZ Wax Museum (gr. 4)
  • Black History performance (gr. 5)
  • Battle of the Books (gr 5-6) sponsored by MPS and the public library
  • Math Olympiad (gr 6)
  • World’s Fair (gr. 6)
  • Chess Club
  • Spring Carnival
  • Cranium Club

The Entz office is open Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Students are allowed on campus at 7:20 am.
