Biography
I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten again at Entz. In the fall, it will be my fifth year teaching in kindergarten. Prior to that, I was the Math Interventionist at Entz. I was born and raised in California, but am enjoying calling Arizona home right now. My husband and I have 3 daughters and 2 fabulous son-in-laws.
I graduated with my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University. I have an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and come from a long line of kindergarten teachers. I am so excited to welcome these little ones each year and build a positive relationship with every one of them. I welcome parent volunteers and pride myself on building relationships with not only my students, but their families as well.
When I am not in my classroom, I am enjoying the outdoors or seeing a movie. I love to hike, explore and especially hit any open body of water with my dog and my paddle board. I find that my students encourage me to be a better person. Kindergartners are so much fun and it is my goal that each one of my students enjoy coming to school every day.
