Biography

I have been a part of Mesa Public Schools, in one way or another, for 18+ years and have loved every minute.  I have been fortunate enough to provide school counseling in all grade levels, K-12.  This opportunity has given me valuable insight to see a child's experience throughout public education.  One reason I love elementary counseling is the opportunity to be pro-active with social/emotional skills.

I have been married for 29 years and am the mother of 4 children, who have attended MPS.  I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Education: School Guidance Counseling.  I have always loved the field of psychology/counseling and have taught parenting classes, youth groups, and professionals about my passion.
