Advisory Council

The Migrant Parent Advisory Council (M.P.A.C.) is composed of parents of children to be served or who are being served bu the Migrant Program. The Migrant Parent Program Advisory Council (M.P.A.C.) serves in an advisory capacity to the migrant program. The primary function of the council is in the area of community relationships.

Migrant parents are provided an opportunity to present their views to school and state officials regarding the operation and evaluation of state and local school district migrant projects.

The M.P.A.C. also is given the opportunity to share their views with respect to the planning of the state and local school district migrant project.

Through the M.P.A.C. parents are involved with school personnel in a cooperative exchange of ideas which increase the educational opportunities of the children.
