I am so excited to be teaching at Falcon Hill Elementary, the home of Project Based Learning, and Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. This is my fourth year at Falcon Hill, and my third year teaching in the primary autism classroom. Before that I was a resource teacher that was split between Falcon Hill and Entz. I look forward to getting to know each one of my students, and working together to meet their needs. One great resource for parents is the Mesa Public School's Special Education website.
Let me share a little bit of information about me. I grew up in Idaho, and I have lived in Arizona for about 11 years now. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Health Administration Management from the University of Phoenix, and obtained my Master's degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. Go Lopes! I have a husband and two children, a daughter who is 8 and a son who is 10.
Please do not hesitate if you have questions or concerns about your student to reach out to me. Email is a very convenient way to stay in touch, and I will also be sending daily notes home, as well as sending home information for you to be able to connect with our classroom on Class Dojo.
I look forward to having a great 2018-19 school year!
