Battle of the Books

The Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading program designed to motivate students to read quality literature. Students in 4th, 5th and 6th grade read from a list of selected books representing various genres of literature. In May teams are selected from each classroom. Those teams compete against one another in the final "battle" by answering questions based on the books in a "Jeopardy" style competition.
