The Gifted and Talented Program (formerly ELP) at Field School is a resource class offered to students who pass state mandated tests at superior levels.  Often known as "Gifted Education", students who qualify for the Gifted and Talented Program in Mesa must score in the top 3% of students nationwide on selected test instruments.  After qualifying for the Gifted and Talented Program, students attend a class once a week for the majority of the school day. Students in this program participate in a vast array of activities. The Gifted and Talented class is designed to challenge students who learn quickly, retain information easily, and think in a creative and unique manner.
