The Lowell and Salk Flight Centers each have their own simulator. The Lowell Simulator is the original built in 1998. It is hydraulically operated while the Salk Simulator is operated electrically. Both simulators offer full motion in all three axes. The Lowell simulator is primarily wooden construction.
