Notice: Food and Nutrition will continue to provide meals to our communities during school closures.
Food and Nutrition will be providing meal service to our communities at select schools, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. The meals will include lunch and a breakfast for the following morning, and will be available for all children ages 18 and younger.
Your children will need to be with you for the meals to be provided.
Service will be made available as a "grab and go" pick-up, located outside of the site's front office or near the student drop-off/pickup area.
NOTE: Effective Monday, April 13th ALL OPEN SERVING SITES will serve on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ONLY, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.
All sites will be closed Friday, April 10th, in observance of a pre-scheduled school holiday.

2019-2020 Free and Reduced applications are now available online.
The online application process can take less than 3 minutes and approval can take place in just a few hours compared with a paper application which can take up to 10 days to process.
**It is not necessary to fill out a paper application if you have completed the online process.
As our Mission Statement states, The Food & Nutrition Department is dedicated to supporting the educational process by providing nutritious, affordable meals to students.
We strive to provide students with access to a wide assortment of foods that are both appealing and nutritious. Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at our schools are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
Free and reduced meals are available to those families that qualify, based on income and family size. Applications are available online, at school offices, cafeterias and at the Food and Nutrition Department offices at 143 S. Alma School Road, Mesa, Arizona 85210.
