Boo-Gram Sales:  Student Council will be selling Boo Grams to help celebrate Halloween with our Fremont Family! Sales will occur daily during both lunches in front of Room 92. Cost is $2 each or 3 for $5! Get yours before they sell out!! Deliveries will be on Tuesday, October 31st.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month:   Your Fremont Student Council will be holding weekly events & activities to raise awareness & money for cancer research.
On Wednesdays We Wear PINK! Wednesdays we will also be selling PINK breast cancer awareness bracelets for $1 in front of the your PINK to show support & you'll also earn a raffle ticket for some great prizes!
Coins 4 Tutus: You can also vote each morning with your coin/dollar donations in front of the library for your favorite (or not so favorite) teacher to wear a PINK tutu all day each Friday! So search the couch cushions & under the car seats for some spare change & THINK PINK throughout October for the battle against cancer! :)

Choir:  Just a reminder to all choir students performing in tomorrow night's performance to go to the auditorium for a combined rehearsal with all choirs during 1st hour. Remember, if your teacher said you are clear to attend please attend.

Sports:  The wrestlers took home 2nd place overall.

Athletes - Quarter 2 sports are just around the corner. We will be offering Baseball, Softball and Boys Volleyball. Tryouts will begin the first week back after October break. Specific dates and times will be announced soon. Permission to Participate forms are available in the front office if you would like to get a head start.

Hispanic American of the Day:  George Lopez is an American comedian and actor. He is known for starring in his self-produced ABC sitcom "George Lopez" from 2002-2007. Lopez has received several honors for his work and contributions to the Latino community. He was also named one of "The Top 25 Hispanics in America" by Time magazine in 2005.

Fremont Spelling Bee:  Are you a great speller? The Fremont spelling bee will be held October 26th, and the winner will go on to compete in the district spelling bee in January. If you would like to participate, see your English teachers for more information and study materials.

Early Release:  Early Release on Friday, October 6th at 1:50 p.m.

Water donation:   The health office is requesting donations of water for students.  Please bring to the health office.  Thank you!

Choir Concert:  Choir Concert in the Auditorium on October 3rd at 7 p.m.

Photo Retakes:  Photo Retakes will be October 4th

Performing Arts Boosters:  Please join us as we help support our Fremont performing arts teachers and students.  Next meeting will be October 4, 2017 at Fremont Junior High in Room 65 at 6:00 p.m.  For more information email us at

October Break:  October break will be October 9th-13th.  School will resume on Monday, October 16th

PTO/SIAC/TITLE 1 Meeting:  Parents/Guardians you are all invited to attend the   PTO/SIAC/Title 1.   It is Monday, October 16th at 4 pm in the media center.

Coffee with the Principal:  Please join us for "Coffee with the Principal"-Thursday, October 19th at 9:15 am in the front office. Come visit with Mr. Roberts about Fremont!

Professional Development Late Start:   Professional Development Late start will be on Wednesday, November 1st School will start at 11:05, buses run 2 hours later.
