School Spirit:  Tomorrow is the Day.  So get out your purple and join our Fremont Falcons to celebrate our weekly Spirit Day.

The Elf Hunt:  The Elf Hunt is on!! "Elfina on the Shelfina" has been spotted on Fremont's campus....can you find her?? If you spot her, please report her location to the front office for your daily prize & a raffle ticket. Elfina will be in a different spot each day in December. Your raffle tickets will be entered into the Student Council "Elf Hunt" grand prize awarded on December 22nd!!!

Fremont NAL Team:  Attention Fremont NAL Team - remember to meet immediately after school today in room 92 for today's match. We will be traveling to Summit Academy, so it is extra important that you are on time. Please contact Mrs. Palmer or Ms. Rowell with any questions.

College Spotlight: University of Dubuque

The University of Dubuque was founded in 1852 and is located on 77 acres in Dubuque, Iowa.  It was founded by Reverend Adrian Van Vliet and all classes were conducted in German for the 1st 44 years.

The university is known as UD and is located by the Mississippi river.  Their Mascot is Sparty the Spartan.

UD is a NCAA Division III university hosting 30 intramural sports.  Their major focus is on Business, Management, Theology and Flight Aviation.  Student – Faculty Ratio is 17 : 1.  Most classes are 25 students or less.  So if you like smaller classes and more individual attention, this is the College for you.

Food Drive:  The student council Food Drive is in full swing! Remember, it's a competition between 4th hour classes - block teachers whose classes run over the 4th hour can/should participate!!!   Bring in your NON-PERISHABLE foods (canned goods, pastas, rice, cereal, peanut butter, etc.) to your 4th hour class.  Our school goal is 5000 items!!! Let's all do some good!

December 7th is Pearl Harbor:  Pearl Harbor is a U.S. naval base near Honolulu, Hawaii, and was the scene of a devastating surprise attack by Japanese naval and air forces on December 7, 1941. Just before 8 a.m. on that Sunday morning, hundreds of Japanese fighter planes descended on the base, where they managed to destroy or damage nearly 20 American naval vessels, including eight enormous battleships, and over 300 airplanes. More than 2,400 Americans died in the attack, including many civilians, and another 1,000 people were wounded. The day after the assault, President Franklin D. Roosevelt asked Congress to declare war on Japan, which they did, officially bringing the United States into World War II.

Lost and Found:   Did you lose a jacket, a key, have you left your lunch box or water bottle.  Stop by front office to see if we may have it. 

Choir Concert:  Choir Concert tonight 7 p.m. in the auditorium.  

Theater Production:  The theater Production was a great show.   Great job everyone. 

PTO/SIAC/TITLE 1 Meeting:  Parents/Guardians you are all invited to attend the   PTO/SIAC/Title 1.  Monday, December11th at 4 pm in the media center.

Coffee with the Principal:  Please join us for "Coffee with the Principal" Tuesday, December 12th at 9:15 am in the front office. Come visit with Mr. Roberts about Fremont!

Band Concert:  Band Concert Tuesday, December 12th at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

Barro’s Pizza Fundraiser:  PTO Barro’s Pizza the fundraiser will now include two locations.  Power and the 60 and Power and McDowell.  All day long on Wednesday, December 13th, just tell them your here to support Fremont. Tell your friends and neighbors!

Orchestra Concert:  Orchestra Concert, Tuesday, December 19th at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.  

Winter Break:  School will be closed for Winter break December 25th – January 5th
