Announcements for 12-22-2017


PBIS Event:  First hour teachers:  Attendance must be taken prior to the start of the celebration.  We must account for all the students prior to the celebration starting.  Thank you.

SECOND SEMESTER SCHEDULE:  All students will receive a new copy of their SECOND semester schedule on January 8, 2018. Students should report to their Fall 1st hour class to pick up their SECOND semester schedules.  Schedules will also be available on-line.

Spirit Week:  Today is Ugly Christmas Sweater Day - make sure to stop by the office before lunch for your raffle ticket. The raffle for all this week's participants will be this afternoon for an awesome prize! Thanks for playing along all week!

Food Drive:  2,057 items total were collected in our food drive! 24 different 4th hour classes participated and HUNDREDS of you gave of yourselves to help others in our community! All items will benefit the United Food Bank and local families in need this winter. The holidays are a season for counting our blessings & sharing them with others - Falcons, you certainly did that! THANK YOU!!! Keep doing good!

SportsFor those wanting to tryout for girls volleyball or coed flag football, please swing by the front office and pick up a permission to participate form.  You will need to have this signed by a parent/guardian and bring it with you the day of the tryouts.  Tryouts will be held the first week of school following winter break, starting on Tuesday.  Cross country will not have tryouts - whomever wants to participate can join the team.  The first cross country meeting will be held on Monday January 8th directly after school on the Red Mountain High School Track.  Please see the front office for any additional information.

Holiday Fact:  Rudolph, “the most famous reindeer of all,” was the product of Robert L. May’s imagination in 1939. The copywriter wrote a poem about the reindeer to help lure customers into the Montgomery Ward department store.

The Elf Hunt:     Student Council “Elf Hunt” Grand prize drawing winners are…….Garret Haney and Madison Jones.  Come to the office to claim your prize.

Winter Break:  School will be closed for Winter break December 25th – January 5th

Happy Birthday:   We would like to wish Happy Birthday to our staff over Winter Break:  Michael Nord, Maria Ortiz, Arlene Treuhaft, Christina Cronin, Dale Shelton, Kim Lieng, Deborah Trudell & Brent Weinberg.

PTO/SIAC/TITLE 1 Meeting:  Parents/Guardians you are all invited to attend the   PTO/SIAC/Title 1., Monday, January 8th at 4 pm in the media center.

Coffee with the Principal:  Please join us for "Coffee with the Principal" Tuesday, January 9th at 9:15 am in the front office. Come visit with Mr. Roberts about Fremont!
