Fremont NAL Team: Attention Fremont NAL team! Remember to meet right after school today in room 92 for our last game of the season against Smith! There will be donuts!
Sports: Good Luck to our Falcon Athletes today! 7th grade Football and girls volleyball will be traveling to Kino. 8th grade Football and girls volleyball will be at home against Kino. All games start at 4:45 pm. Come support our Falcons!

February is National Black History Month: Black History Month: Madam C.J. Walker, birth name was Sarah Breedlove, was born on a cotton plantation in Louisiana in 1867 - she was the 1st in her family born into freedom. Walker was an African American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a political and social activist. She became one of the wealthiest African American women in the country, "the world's most successful female entrepreneur of her time," and one of the most successful African-American business owners ever.
College Spotlight: University of Montana
University of Montana is located in Missoula, Montana and was founded in 1893. The college locate at the foot of Mount Sentinel is known as having the most scenic campus in America.
It is a Public Research University, which ranks 17th in the nation and has produced 28 Rhodes Scholars. It is the only 4 year college that offers Experience One, where you take a single class at a time and learn by doing.
The mascot of the university is Monte, a Grizzly Bear. Monte (short for Montana) was born in the mountains of Missoula in the fall 1993. In 1897, a live bear cub traveled with UM's football team, then known as the "Bears" (the "Grizzlies" name was adopted in 1923). Numerous live bear cubs have served as university mascots.

Valentine's Candy Sales: on February 13th & 14th your Student Council will be selling "heart pops" before school and during lunch for .50 cents, $1.00 and $1.50. Bring your money and buy your friend, sweetheart or teacher a little token of "love" that will make their tummy happy, too!
