Summer School 2017

ACADEMIC Summer School - 4 weeks - June 5th - June 29th

Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Fremont Jr. High will be conducting a free summer school program for 6th graders and 7th graders who could utilize additional academic instruction. The dates of Summer School are Monday, June 5th – Thursday, June 29th, 2017. Classes will be held Monday-Thursday from 8:00 – 12:00.   Students will attend classes that will focus on reading, writing, and math skills. Students are selected for this program based on academic need.  Teachers are making recommendations for this program and students recommended will be invited to attend.  If you have questions about your students eligibility for our Academic Summer School, please contact your child's ELA, Math or Reading teacher, or you may contact our Title I Office, 472-8316.

Transportation will be provided for the academic and transition students who live in the boundaries of Fremont Jr. High. The bus will drop off students on campus at approximately 7:45 and then pick them up at 12:00.

Teachers for all summer school programs are still being determined and locations of classrooms as well.  Students will receive a schedule on the first day of summer school classes.  A student can have no more than two absences or they will be removed from any of the summer school programs.


TEAM UP - 6th to 7th Grade Transition Program-Session 1 or Session 2

Fremont Jr. High will be conducting a free summer school program for 6th graders transitioning to 7th grade.

The session dates for TEAM UP are:

Session 1:Monday, June 5th- Thursday June 15th,  8:00 - 12:00 PM

or

Session 2:Monday, June 19th -Thursday June, 29th, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Students will focus on executive skills, time management, organization, general orientation to the “Fremont Way”, and Jr. High expectations.
