Biography

I am a graduate of Ottawa University and received my Masters Degree from Northern Arizona University. I have an Elementary certificate and a Secondary 7-12 English certificate, along with endorsements in Gifted Education and Sheltered English Immersion.  I also hold a secondary certificate in Career & Technical Education/Business. I am trained in AVID as well as Project Lead the Way's Computer Science program.  I have been teaching for 17 years at both the elementary and secondary level.

I have been married for 27 years. I have two children. In addition, I share my home with a six-year old lab, Daisy. I enjoy hiking, relaxing in the pool, and baseball. Go Dbacks!

It is both a terrific privilege and responsibility to be your student's teacher this year. I am looking forward to a year filled with both academic and personal success.
