Outstanding Problem Based Learning Projects
1st, 2nd, 3rd grade 7th English & 6th hour ELD Writing
For my PBL project, students had to get into a small group of no more than three students. Then, they had to choose a topic to research and they had to state whether they were for or against it. Students had to research the topic in depth, fill out an outline, complete a works cited page, interview an "expert", fill out notecards and finally put all of their work together and present a power point presentation of all of their information. At the time of their presentation, students were able to ask questions and have a debate whether they agreed on the information or not. Overall, all of my students did an outstanding job!
